New service which aims to inform migrants about Covid19 using video messaging

A new service which aims to inform migrants about Covid19 was launched on Tuesday, May 19th. Using video messaging in over 30 different languages, from Swahili to Urdu, Chinese to Czech and Portuguese to Polish, this service will be run by the Together Ireland Initiative and Nasc, the Migrant and Refugee Rights Centre.

Over 20 doctors, and other healthcare professionals, from around the world, but living and working in Ireland, have voiced the video messages for this new Covid-19 World Service Initiative aimed at providing up-to-date and accurate public health information to migrants living in Ireland.

Nasc, the Irish word for ‘link’, empowers migrants to realise and fulfil their rights. Nasc works with migrants and refugees to advocate and lead for change within Ireland’s immigration and protection systems, to ensure fairness, access to justice and the protection of human rights.
