Gaisce At Home

Extraordinary times call for extraordinary measures. To this end, Gaisce has launched   Gaisce at Home/ Gaisce sa Bhaile .   Maintaining the integrity of the Gaisce programme, Gaisce at Home  encourages and support PALs and young people to think differently – and creatively – so that young people can achieve their Award whilst adhering to public health guidelines. The campaign is aimed not just at the 18,000+ young people actively pursuing their Gaisce Award prior to the measures being introduced, but all young people, wherever they are.

Gaisce at Home is our way of responding in a specific and unique way to the current crisis. It will ensure those already on their Gaisce journey can continue. It will encourage other young people to get involved in something positive for themselves and their community. It will provide a means of publicly recognising, not just the appetite and desire young people have to make a positive difference, but their action.

By design, Gaisce is a partnership organisation: we don’t deliver the programme ourselves but work in partnership with others so they can deliver it directly. Whether you’re involved in Gaisce already or not, Gaisce at Home might be of interest to you.
