Helping your child with bereavement
Dear Colleagues
Please find attached a poster detailing the Primary Care Child & Adolescent Psychology Service’s upcoming presentation on helping children and adolescents who are bereaved. This presentation is aimed for parents / carers of children who have experienced a loss. It provides information relating to bereavement as well as practical skills and resources to help with feelings and behaviours relating to their experience of loss. This presentation may also be of interest to some professionals who work with young people.
When: Tuesday 28st January 2020 at 10:00am
Where: The Conference Room, St John’s College, Respond, The Folly, Waterford.
It is important that parents / carers / professionals wishing to attend the presentation register for it by texting “bereavement” and their name to 086 145 3629. Further details regarding this and the presentation itself can be found on the attached poster.
