As the COVID-19 outbreak continues, our aim in Waterford Sports Partnership is to continue supporting responsible sport and physical activity participation while minimising the spread of COVID-19.
Sport and physical activity is essential to our physical and mental wellbeing, our sense of positivity and our long term health, now more than ever.
· Try your best to #BeActive for at least 30 minutes a day, or 60 minutes a day for children.
· Wash your hands before and after being active, to avoid spreading or contracting the virus.
· Stay local and within a 5km radius of your home for exercise.
. Exercise with members of your household or a maximum of 3 people from outside your household
. Observe physical distancing by keeping at least 2 metres apart.
We have been working hard over the past few months to develop videos and resources that will help you and your family and friends keep active whilst adhering to the HSE Social Distancing guidelines.
